It Started With A Need

Years ago, our co-founder Sharon Gillenwater was working for a company that targeted executive leaders. In advance of one of their events, she wrote up a series of profiles on each executive slated to attend. The profiles were more than just resume bullet points. They were thorough and thoughtful, designed to give the company the kind of insight that would drive valuable conversations.

The Response Was Incredible!

So Sharon kept writing them. As the reaction continued to swell, she realized that if one company saw value in the work, others would, too.

In 2008, she joined forces with Lee Demby to launch Boardroom Insiders and create executive profiles at scale. Now, our company has headquarters in Fort Mill, S.C., and San Francisco. Our fast-growing team includes expert researchers, seasoned sales professionals and experienced marketers. Together, we're building a reputation for helping companies streamline executive engagement, add value to executive relationships and close bigger deals, faster.
